A lot of building owners and Boards have one thing in common; they’re often-times getting involved in the minutiae that they hire their property management professionals to handle. Whether it’s giving the staff direction on the day-to-day or getting directly involved in tenant affairs, there is potential for a large amount of confusion and misdirection for any and all building staff.

If there is a Board of Directors / Managers within the building, adding the property manager to the mix can lead to a potential of anywhere from 7 – 13 people who can have direct access to the building staff at any given time. Allowing only the property managers to give direction to those staff members will keep the flow of information streamlined and will allow the paid professionals to manage the building and the staff in the way that will be beneficial to all.
